Outlook 2003- Occasional Prompt for PW accompanied by 0x800ccc92 e

I set up a new email account in Outlook 2003 (I have three other accounts in
this profile and none of them have this problem). I have frequent problem
trying to retrieve incoming mail for this account. It prompts me for the PW,
even though the save PW was checked in the setup of that email account. In
One out of four attempts, I am able to retrieve the mail without issues. The
error message received during the failure is 0x800ccc92. I have followed
similar tracks in this forum, however in my case the one difference is that
it DOES work SOMETIMES. I went thru the exercise of editing the Registry as
suggested in a response to a similar problem; however that did not correct
the problem. Has anyone successfully resolved a similar problem? Appreciate
any help you can provide. Some additional info is needed, I use the latest
McAfee Security Suite however I have disabled SpamKiller.
