Outlook 2003 - opening a message problem

I've noticed that periodically when I try to open a
message in my Inbox that the email window opens behind the
Outlook window so I have to minimize Outlook to see the
message. Essentially, the message window does not become
the active window on top when I open a message. I found no
help in the Knowledge Base, so any help on this would be
greatly appreciated. Thank you.
