Outlook 2003 personal folder name is blank

Just upgraded to O2003 from O-Xp. Install went fine, except I now have a
personal folder in outlook that is blank, has no name. When I click on it I
get a message that the set of folders could not be opened. If I right click
on it, "propeties" and "rename" are grayed out, but there is an entry that
says Rename "<0w#25>", which I assume is a temporary internal name. Question
how do I get rid of this nameless folder? Is there an entry in the registry I
can delete? Did a search of all my pst folders, found nothing amiss

The new pst-file format of Outlook 2003 is not compatible with any previous
version of Outlook. When you work with Outlook 2003 and you also want your
data to be available in previous versions of Outlook you'll need to continue
using Outlook 97-2002 Data Files. Follow these instructions in case you are
already working with Outlook 2003 Data Files:

Can you remove the Personal Folders using File | Data File Management? If
not, create a new mail profile from scratch (Control Panel | Mail | Show
Profiles) and that should take care of it.

This is just a folder that appears under "All Mail Folders" with a blank
name. I have no problems opening up pre-existing PST folders, just want to
remove the "blank" one

No I tried that already. The folder name is blank, it does not appear in the
list. Created a new mail profile, problem still exists

I just don't see how that's possible. Starting with a new profile means you
don't have ANY folders unless you specifically add them. I don't doubt you
see what you see, but I can't think of how.
