Outlook 2003 Sending non-existant messages

Hi, I am just after upgrading from Office XP to Office Pro 2003. Everything
is working fine, only I notice that Outlook keeps trying to send 4 messages
on one of my accounts though my outbox is empty. What is it trying to send,
where and why? Once it has gone through this process, it will go through no
problem until I send an email from another account in which case, it will try
to send these non-existant messages... I have re-set up this account and it
is doing the same.
Any idea ?
