Mails were transferred to pst files from exchange server and stored in a
folder. That folder got deleted by Shift+Del. Is there any way to recover
these mails?

Not without doing some drastic recovery on the hard drive. It's doubtful
you'd get it back.

If the file was on a network drive, you might be able to recover it using a
backup tape however, as Ann said, if the folder was local, you are out of
luck.

After furious head scratching, Vipin asked:

It was possible only if PC is on after the delete. As described in many
places, corrupt the pst and then run scanpst.exe, it restores the deleted
mails.
