Outlook alert/memo/rule when an email does not arrive

N

Nigel Donnelly

Hi Folks,

Believe this is known as a "silent failure". So, say an expected message
from a known sender does not arrive by a particular time, how can I send an
email/alert to another mailbox...?

Any thoughts appreciated!

Many Thanks...

There's no way in Outlook to test for the non-arrival of a message.

is it a new message or a reply? there are a couple of addins that track
replies but it would be impossible for outlook or an addin to know about new
messages you never received.

See http://www.slipstick.com/addins/mail.asp - email follow-up is one addin.
