Outlook and Word - XP Professional

I have three stations who are unable to send emails using Outlook. When creating a new email, Word is the the email editor and it always hangs. Not only does Word hang when creating or replying to an email, but they can not use Word and type in a new document without it hanging. These three stations are on a server, but there are three other computers who do not have this problem at all with Outlook and Word. I looked at microsoft.com and they had an article Q278214 - but there is no solution. Just a temporary fix to the hanging aspect which is end task. My question is what is the fix to this problem? Thanks. Heather

Since the Word problem in not rescrited to Outlook why didn't you post this
in a Word newsgroup?

Anyway, rename the normal.dot file to normal.old and start Word and see if
it solves your problem. If not rename it back to normal.dot and continue in
a Word newsgroup.
