Is there a template or shareware project that supports something similar to
the Outlook calendar using Access?

If you're looking for a stand-alone, all-in-MS Access, calendaring feature,
email me at (e-mail address removed), and I'll send you a little Contact
Management database that contains calendaring features -- entirely within MS
Access.

....has a core calendar system called MaxxSchedule
which is still sold by the developer for
about $50.00 at Fuzzy Software...
