Using Windows XP and Outlook 2000, I receive a daily e-
mail from a bank service. The pdf file is always named the
same. When I try to save it to my desktop or folder OR
open it from destination, OR drag it to the desktop, I get
the same error message:
Can't create file: rate.pdf. Right click the folder you
want to create the file in, and the click properties on
the shortcut menu to check your permissions for the
folder.
What is weird is that if I try to change the name in "Save
As" then it still gives me the error BUT refers to the
original name. I am at a loss.
Now, I e-mailed it to someone else and they changed the
name and e-mailed it back and it worked. I have narrowed
it to the file name. Also, I deleted all cookies,
temporary internet files and to my dismay, no-go.
Be my hero today and help me out.
