Outlook continuously downloads same email

I am running Outlook XP on a WinXP platform. Most recent
service packs downloaded.

Outlook is continuously downloading the same email from
my POP3 account. I have logged into that account
separately and completely wiped out all traces of said
email, however every time outlook does a Send/Receive, it
picks up this same email.
How can I resolve this problem?

I have tried turning off Anti-virus software, and
completely wiping the POP3 account.

Is this a problem with my pst file? Or is it something

Is it only a particular mail message that keeps getting downloaded, or all
messages? Could you turn on diagnostic logging (see
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;Q300479) and post
the OPMLog.log file after you've done a few send/receives that download this
message?
