Outlook e-mail issiues

When I click open an e-mail message in Outlook 2000 it
disappears completely after closing the e-mail. It should
stay in the inbox as opened but completely disappears,it
is not even in the deleted folder. Any clues?

Check your view settings to make sure you're looking at all messages (not
filtering on unread only)

Check your views to ensure you do not have it set to unread messages.

Post all replies to the group to keep the discussion intact. Due to
the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.

After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer, Kevin asked:
