Outlook Email Problems

Have just installed Outlook (Office 2000) on my new PC
but cannot get mail to work. Accounts are set up ok.
Getting messages "A TCP/IP error occurred while trying to
connect to the server.Error Number 8x800ccc15". I am as
before using ICS on a home LAN. My Internet access with
Explorer is working fine over same LAN connection.(The
main gateway PC is receiving and sending mails no
problem).
Can anyone help please?
