outlook express

I have an IBM Aptiva with Smart Suite installed. My ISP
provides Outlook Express for my mail. I am told that the
spell check will not work when using create mail unless
the Microsoft office product is installed. Does anyone
know of a fix for this problem other than purchasing one
of the Microsoft office products?

Unfortunately no - according to Microsoft ...

Outlook Express uses the spelling checker provided with
the following Microsoft Office programs: Microsoft Word,
Microsoft Excel, and Microsoft PowerPoint. If you do not
have one of these programs installed, the Spelling
command is not available.
