outlook from office 2000

I need help. I can send but not receive email. SBCDSL said its ms problem, ms said its HP, problem, HP said not its MS and so on. I have spent hours trying to get it to work. Yesterday 4 with SBC, this am 1 with HP, and MS just keeps sending me to the wrong place. No virus's I have checked and use system 5. I need help. Thank Yo
pleae email answers I will pick up off yahoo web.

What error messages do you get? What did you install/uninstall just before
it stopped working? (Note - nothing is not a good answer.) Do you have
Norton Internet Security on this machine? What anti-virus are you using? Do
you have email scanning running from your AV or NIS?

the (insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal
account will be deleted without reading.
