Outlook hangs

Outlook 2002 hangs every other time or so I start it. I
then have to detect and repair to get it to work again.

In Event Viewer in XP Pro I get Event ID 1002 indicating
a hang by
OUTLOOK.EXE

I also get a separate Event ID 1001 that says "Fault
bucket 45085338"

How can I fix this?
