Really sorry in advance if this is totally stupid but
when I press the `Send/Recieve` button to check mail,
there used to be a box that popped up `Checking for
mail` etc...It would show how many mails were coming
in etc. I clicked something earlier (I dont know what!)
and now the box doesnt appear.

Could anyone tell me how to reset this so i can get it back?

Thanks so much

you checked the "don't show this dialog box during Send/Receive" the last
time the window was open. To bring it back click Tools/Send-Receive
Settings/Show Progress... this should open up the progress window...uncheck
the "don't show..." box and you're good to go...:)

It doesnt seem to have `Send Recieve settings/Show progress` under the tools
option.
I'm using Microsoft Outlook 2000 if that's any help to you??

Thanks very much for the suggestion anythow. Much apreciated.

During the next send/receive, click on the revolving
envelopes at the bottom of your window, select Restore.
On the dialog box, uncheck the bos "always hide."

Try going to Tools/Send-Recieve/Send-Recieve settings and make sure the box is unchecked.
