Outlook opening mail

N

Norm

Hi,

I want to change my email from outlook express, to outlook 2000.

At present, my email messages sit in my outlook express file until I
open them.

In outlook 2000, they open straight away, this means if something
offensive, or worse is in the mail, it is opened automatically.

Is there a way that I can command Outlook 2000 to leave emails
unopened until I click on them?

Thanks,

Norm.

Also, under Tools.Options.Preferences.Email Options...
make sure you set "After deleting an open item" to "return
to the inbox" - the default is "open the next item".
