Outlook opens up Word

I have a client whom when ever she opens outlook, word
also opens a few seconds later. It does not matter which
machine I put her on, the same thing happens everytime.
Would an email cause this? Is it some type of setting?
Whats going on??

Gary,
This is a setting.

Click on Tools | Options
Click on the Mail Format tab
Uncheck Use Microsoft Word to edit e-mail messages

This should do it.

Did you ever find a solution to this problem? I have the
same difficulty, originally thought it was caused from an
update, doesn't happen on occassion with a clean install.
