Outlook .pst files

After loading Outlook into new computer and opening my current .pst file from
the old computer in the new one, I only have email from years 2005 & 2006,
nothing after that date. Do you have any suggestions as to what I am doing
wrong?

Nothing - the pst file you are opening obviously only has emails from 2005
and 2006 in it...
