Outlook - run in background?

Is there a way to make Outlook 2000 run in the background? As of next week
I will be using an 'always on' connection, and I don't want to have Outlook
always on the taskbar just so I can pick up email!

Not natively. Outlook 2002 and Outlook 2003 can. A nice third party tool is
Actual Title Buttons which will allow you to move all your programs to the
system tray whenever you want.

Thanks for your help. I have since looked all over the web and kept seeing
registry fixes for outlook 2002/3. I have now found a suitable program for
outlook 2000 at http://www.r2.com.au/software.php?page=2&show=hideoutlook
and it works really well!
