outlook search for backup file

Amit

I have outlook 2002. Last week, I made a backup of my
folders by exporting them to a CD (which I do
regularly). Since then, occasionally the outlook looks
for the backup file on the CD and let me know that it was
not able to find it. In particular, it happens when I
try to open emails with an attachment (the email, not the
attachment). Why is it looking for the backup file and
how can I stop it? Thanks.

Save something to your Desktop and the problem will be gone; Outlook tries
to access the last saved to location first.

Also; do not export to make a back-up but simply copy your pst-file to CD.
This will save your custom views and folders as well
