Outlook Send/Receive Button Not Working

The Send/Receive button on one of my user's Outlook does not work. It
keeps coming up with Operation Failed message. This is Outlook 2002 and
we are using Exchange 2000. What would cause this to happen and how do you
fix. There are no other messages to report.

Try detect and repair. If that does not work, create a new mail profile.

(insert latest virus name here) virus, all mail sent to my personal account
will be deleted without reading.
