Outlook set as default but Outlook Express gets mail

I set Outlook as my email client but Outlook Express
receives my email. I correctly imported the email account
from Outlook Express into Outlook. I contacted my local
provider but they can not help me because Outlook is a
third party provider that they do not support ( 0r so
they tell me.) Does anyone know what the solution would
be to have Outlook receive the email? Thank you for your
assistance.

Make sure you delete the email account from Outlook Express, otherwise every
time you start it you will still get email on that account.
