I can no longer "find" outlook today to put on my navigation pane, so that I
can have outlook today be my start up page when I start Outlook. In my 2003
verison I had it. I have the to do bar, which seems to have take it's place.
However, none of my permanent items that I have in my calendar, like
birthdays, show up on the to do bar. They did show up in Outlook 2003 on the
Outlook today page.

Outlook Today is still there in Outlook 2007. Click the top level folder of
your default folder set to see it. It should hold the house icon.

Hmmm, that's what I've been trying to do and it's not there, I've even had
others check to see if I'm missing the painfully obvious. I'm okay with the
birthdays showing up on the To Do bar, any new appts. I set up appear there,
but not all the birthdays I had entered in older versions of Outlook. Is
there someway I can fix that?
Thanks for helping!

Right click on the root folder and choose Properties. On the Home Page tab,
make sure you have it enabled and/or reset the default address.
All day events will not show up in the To-Do Bar/ This option will be added
to Outlook 2010.
