Outlook Today

I haven't found a quick way (a button?) to get to Outlook Today from
anywhere else in Outlook 2003. I managed to add the choice to the Go menu,
but adding a button (icon) to the toolbar or a choice to the Navigation Bar
(on the left of the screen) would be most convenient. Is this possible?

Thanks

Stephen

Hi, Stephen,

I just use the Shortcuts navigation bar, and sometimes the Folder list
navigation bar. I've created shortcuts to the functions I use most often.
That way, if I'm in the Folder list (in the Navigation Bar), I can click on
"Mailbox - Ramlet, Susan" to open Outlook Today. If I'm in the Shortcuts
list (in the Navigation Bar), I can click on "Outlook Today", which is at
the top of the list under "My Shortcuts".

Do you see those shortcuts? Do you have the navigation bar showing? Is
that an option for you?

Thanks for you help Susan and KePaHa.

I CAN get to Outlook Today by clicking "Personal Folders" in the Navigation
Bar (on the left of my screen). I'm just used to being able to touch a
button to get there. I guess there is no way to add another button to the
Nav Bar (along with Mail, Calendar, Contacts, etc.) for Outlook Today. The
new Outlook's screen design is actually more confusing (busier) than the old
version, I think.

The top level folder in the Folder List should be the mailbox. If you
right-click on this folder, and choose Properties, then go to the Home Page
tab, you can check a box that says Show Home Page for this Folder which
should cause OL Today to appear when you click on the Mailbox folder.

I completely agree; that's why I choose to just use the Shortcuts bar and
hide all the others. That way, I only get what I want to work with on a
regular basis...
