Is There a fix for Word 2003 not maximizing to a full window when Outlook
2003 is running?

TIA

Right-click on your Word icon and select:
Properties > Shortcut, then select "Maximized"
in the Run dialog box, then click Apply.

Thanks, Carey. What I am trying to say is Word won't Maximize while Outlook
is running. In order for me to usse Word maximized, I first have to shut
down Outlook.

Carey,

Have you any other suggestions? I hate having to shut down Outlook in order
to use Word. For what it is worth, I can make the window smaller [minimize]
but when Word is as big as it can get, there is space between the top edge
of the window and the top of the display and the bottom of the window is out
of sight at the bottom of the display. If you click & hold on the blue band
on the top of the window, you cannot drag it up, down, or sideways; it is as
if it is frozen. The only way to be able to get Word maximized and centered
so it can be used is to shut down Outlook.

I tried your suggestion in properties and that does the exact same thing
that always happens.

Open for suggestions,

Have you installed all the latest Office 2003 updates, including SP2 for Office 2003?
