Outlook without email

My company uses GroupWise 6.5 and I have Outlook 2002 or 2003 available. I
have a new desktop running Windows XP. I also have a new Palm Tungsten T5.
I am considering the possibility of using Outlook to synchronize my GroupWise
Calendar and Contacts with my T5, but I do not need or want to use Outlook
(or my T5) for email. Is it possible to configure Outlook so that it does
not synchronize email?
