Outlook wont open

Just received an email from a friend saying her outlook wont open sometimes
and she has to reboot the machine. Any ideas on how to fix this ? She has
WinXP Home Edition but not sure of what version of Outlook ( but when she
installed it she only installed Outlook and Word )

Her Outlook of undetermined version won't open sometimes? Unfortunately
that's not really enough information to give you much in the way of concrete
solutions.

Did she try running Detect & Repair? (Help menu)

I will have to get out and have a look and see what is going on . Will
try Detect and Repair.

If Outlook won't open, it may be that it didn't close properly the time
before. Have your friend look at this:
