Check first that your port configuration in the palm
software is correct. This is where the communication can
break and won't synch.
If that was correct the do the next step.
Uninstall the palm software first after backing any
information. Use the detect and repair in outlook to fix
any errors. Reinstall the palm software and make sure
that the configuration is correct.
