Outloook Express Attachments

Two days ago I downloaded and installed a security patch
for Outlook Express. Since then I cannot open any Word or
Excel documents that have been included as attachments to
either new or old e-mails. How do I restore the access to
Word and Excel attachments?

Sheeesh! Try the message 14 lines below yours called "message blocking
attachments".........

You might try going to Tools >> Options >> Security >> and
make sure there isn't a check mark in the box next to "Do
not allow attachments to be saved or opened that could
potentially be a virus".
