Page Headings.

Gday to all. Have a FP2K3 site running on Win2K server. Still relatively new
to FP.

I would like to change the graphic at the top of each page. For example,
index.htm has a graphic at the top of the page, however the same graphic
appears on all pages.

If I load/edit (for example) the 'about us page' and change the graphic
there, it is changed on all pages.

Would I be correct in assuming that if I place a table at the top of every
page, I can place a different graphic within? If so, my next question would
be, how can I make a graphic load randomly or dynamically.

Thanks

Sounds like you're using Shared Borders (or a Theme that is using Shared
Borders) what appears in a Shared Border will appear on every page within
that web that is using Shared Borders.

Putting a graphic in a table won't help in the above.

You could use tables on every page and put different graphics in a top
row...or Included Content | Page if you wanted the same image on almost all
pages and different images in others...you only have to include the included
page once when you're setting up the initial page design, then if you want
changes you then change the page that is included. Clear as mud right? IOW
you can better control with included content than you can with shared
borders.

or you can use DWT...but I'm still learning them so can't explain it very
well..sorry on that.

Yes Rob, using shared borders. I did try a dummy site with a table above the
shared border and it seemed to work just fine.

But I think I like the idea of included content, so I'll play with that a
bit and let you know.

Yes of course you can use a table in a shared border.
