Page view limited

Hello!

When I open a document in Word, I am only viewing the space within the margins of the document instead of the full page size. In the past, I could view the entire 8.5x11 page size and see the margin boundaries on the top and left side rulers. Now, I am seeing only the "usable" area so the page size looks skewed. Additionally, I can't change anything on the left side (vertical) ruler as I could in the past. Does anyone know how to change this setting back to the usual setting? I can't seem to figure out why I am looking at pages in this way or how to revert back to the old settings.

Thanks!

Click the "View" menu and select "Print layout". Does that help?

Thanks for your reply. No it doesn't help. I can only view the full page by changing the margins to 0" or adding a border to the page. This is so strange. It has never happened before. Again, the vertical ruler is locked ("gray) as well

Try Tools > Options View and 'White space between pages'. (This can get
unset accidentally if you click in the wrong place at the top of the
window).

Thank you

That fixed my problem. I suspect one of my four year old twin boys accidentally clicked in that "wrong" place when I was not looking..
