Page will not display in Page preview.

I'm using Frontpage 2000 on Windows XP. When I select one
of my web pages, it will only display the Theme and Top
Border info. ALL THE HTML CODE for the page is gone -
even in HTML view/edit mode.

This page works on my website...and when I open the file
using a file manager program, it opens in the browser and
looks completely normal.

I have ftp'ed the web version back to my local drive,
assuming some corruption has occurred. No difference.
Frontpage opens and correctly displays every other file
in the website, but will not work with this one.

I'm afraid to publish changes, in case Frontpage is
altering the web in some unpredictable way.

Any ideas??

There are a great deal of invalid nesting of tags which likely cause
what you see. I would advice you to start over on a new page. That will
likely be faster than trying to find and correct all the errors.
Copy all text to notepad to clear all formatting, build the layout in a
new page and copy the text back from notepad.

So do I. Problem is, in Frontpage 2000 edit mode, only
the code for the theme and top border displays..in either
page preview or HTML edit mode. THe actual page contents,
that is, the Pick Menu and the Pick image are MISSING.

Broken Html
the
<META NAME="Title" content="Fingerpicks, flatpicks and thumbpicks from The Stringman."
needs a closing >
<META NAME="Title" content="Fingerpicks, flatpicks and thumbpicks from The Stringman.">
and you have extra table tags at the end of the page
