Some how uploading to my server I changed my password
protection from my subweb to my main web site. Now to
access my site I must enter my user name/password the main
web. I have tried to access through FP2000(open web) but
it keeps me out my an error message."The folder maybe
located on an unavailable volume or protected with a
password." How do I turn the password protection off my
main web site? My web server has FP2000 extensions.
Need Help,
Jerry

I've had this happen on a hosted server and corrected it by uninstalling and
reinstalling FP server extensions. Sometimes, though, that doesn't work and
whoever is administering your server (IIS) may need to check the permissions
of your account (mine have become corrupted and had to be re-applied when
this happened).

The folder "http://Website" isn't accessible. The folder may be located on
an unavailable volume or protected with a password.

You might also consider the free "Jimco Open Web" addin from

If you have used FTP have your host repair / reapply the FP SE

| Rich, I even thought about deleting the web on the server
| and reinstalling it; what happen is that my FTP client
| timed out during an upload for some reason, don't know why,
| Thanks,
