I used Tools, Option, Security to password protect a Word
2002 document. I saved, then closed the document. I went
back into the document and made a change to test it. I
saved the document with the change. I went back into the
document and the grievous change was there. I made the
correction and tried to save it, but it wouldn't let me
because the document is Read-only.
I tried deleting the document; it went away, but only
momentarily. I tried copying the correct document to the
same folder, but it would not let me. When I open the
document, it does not ask me for a password; it just
opens as read-only. Help, the change that I made is a
grievous spelling error that's in the first line of the
document.
