Using Office 2003 on a Windows XP machine.
Trying to paste some charts from an Excel worksheet into my Word document.
Using paste as picture to minimize file size and lock in formatting.
However, if the Excel chart has gradients used in the fill pattern, then
when I paste it into Word (or Powerpoint, for that matter) it shows up in
grayscale. If any particular data point's fill is just a flat color, no
gradient, then it will show up in color.
What gives? I got these documents from someone else, and she was able to
paste as picture just fine.
Thanks,
Tammy
