Paste formatted in Ppt 2003

each time i copy/paste into a table, the format of the pasted text is not in
line with the overall slide. Is there a setting I can change that allows me
to paste into the format of the table?

Jila,

Have you tried Paste Special instead of Paste? I don't do a lot with
tables, but Paste Special usually gives an option for unformatted text,
which should then take on the format of the thing into which it is being
pasted.
