pdf in publisher

when i pdf'd a publisher file that had pictures inserted in the document
created from word, the single picture would multiply to about 50 little
pictures within the single picture frame. please help. thanks.

Did you shrink the image in Publisher proportionally? Did you apply
any special effects to the image? This is not an uncommon thing
especially when there is a transparency effect being used or the image
is not scaled proportionally.
