PDF screen

Pat W.

I am trying to make a PDF from the screen. When I create the PDF it goes
back to the start date of the project but I only need the dates on the
screen. Is there a way to print the screen only to a PDF?

Hi Pat W.,

A couple of choices:

If you are printing the view to a PDF printer and choose File > Print
you can specify the date range to print.

If you are attempting to do a screen capture through the Copy Picture
button on the toolbar, select the tasks you wish to capture first. Then
in the copy picture dialog box, make sure it says "selected tasks" and
select the timescale.

I hope this helps. Let us know how you get along.

Hi Pat,

Welcome to this Microsoft Project newsgroup :)

I've never tried, but in the Print dialog there is an option to select the
timescale and dates from and to. Have you tried that?

Hope this helps - please let us know how you get on :)
