PDFs in my Publisher document print fuzzy

Publisher 2007...I have a newsletter im putting together. The ads are
premade PDF files that are all clear and mostly vectorized. When i drop them
into my pages in publisher, they look and print very unclear. Why is this
and how do I fix? This doesnt happen with other graphic files

This is because Publisher cannot import the PDF file natively; what you
get is variable since it depends on how Adobe Reader or Acrobat is set
up on your computer. It can range from nothing at all to a
low-resolution preview to the full detail.
