Pen tool?

Version: 2008 Operating System: Mac OS X 10.6 (Snow Leopard) Processor: Intel Would it be a wise inclusion to have a pen tool added to the Drawing panel/pallet thingy?

I am thinking of a pen that attaches/coincides anchor points with those appertaining to a dataset anyway.

So if, for example, a pen is used to draw stuff those pen drawn anchor points uphold rescaling and are glued to the chart

I'm afraid I really don't understand exactly how you intend to use it, but
there is a "pen" that fits your description in the drawing tools. It just
doesn't look like a pen... It's called the Freeform Tool.

I think I may have tried that one and it draws fine but when I added more information to the chart it realigns stuff to accommodate the new data. That is when the drawing goes out of sync with the chart.

Maybe a way to append pen tool nodes to data so if the chart is redrawn /rescaled then the drawn bit is adjusted too?
