people is getting some of my emails as binary?

Hi all,
i'm having this problem since last week as well as other of my users.
Everything was ok, and all of a sudden people started telling me they were
getting those email in binary code..
this doesn't happen every time. I'm running xp sp2 and microsoft office
2003 sp3
any idea of what the problem is?

are they getting uuencoded messages or winmail.dat attachments?
