permante border removed

I just purchased my PC and while exploring with it, doing this and that, I
somehow ended up attaching a border to every new document that I open, how
do I remove the borders without having to adjust each new document?

Close Word. Goto Start, Search for "normal.dot" and rename it to
"Normal.old" then start Word to make a new template.
