Permission to save or Move email to folder

I have always saved my email to designated folders. Today I can not do that,
either with the rule or via move or copy. The error message I get is that I
do not have permission to do this. I always have and I did not change
anything. I do not find the option to set the permission, and I do not
understand why I might need to.

Another issue, some time back I lost the capabilty to open an attached
folder on an email. I can open .doc, .wav, .pdf, .jpg etc. but the one that
appears as a folder I can not (no designated extension). Just curious.

Does the same thing happen if you start Outlook in safe mode? Hold
Ctrl when you start it.

You can't attach folders in Outlook (or in any mail client with which
I'm familiar). You can attach zip files, however, which Windows treats
as "compressed folders". Can you save the attachment to your hard
drive?
