Personal Files Set-Up

N

Nakia Allen

Greetings,

I received a system generated message indicating my Inbox is overlimit and
it suggested moving the emails to my Personal Folder. At work we are on
Microsoft Exchange and I don't see any Personal Folders set up. Could
someone please tell me how I can set up a Personal Folder myself? In
addition, after I have set it up, how do I move all of the folders I have
already established in my Inbox over? Thank you for your time! :)

File>New>Outlook Data File will allow you to create a Personal Folders file
(PST), if your PC configuration allows it. Once you've created the file,
you can create folders as you please and then drag and drop from your main
folders to these.

I'd recommend trying AutoArchive, however. This will store your older
messages (based on date criteria you establish) into a Personal Folders
file. See Tools>Options>Other>AutoArchive
