Phantom Email

I posted this similar issue a couple of days ago, but now
I have narrowed it down.
Every time I set up this one pop account, I get an error
that it is trying to send, but cannot connect. It keeps
trying over and over endlessly, and the errors keep piling
up. It never stops unless I remove the account. I have
selected the option to receive only for this account, and
there is nothing in my Outbox folder. I have deleted this
account and set it up again numerous time with no luck.
It is like there is a program trying to send something
though this particular account in the background. Virus
scan turns up nothing. It used to work fine until a
couple of days ago. I have a very simmilar account to
this one that works fine. I have always received only on
these two accounts. I don't ever send with them.

I cannot find where it is sending from. I suspect that it
may be some kind of auto confirmation for an email I
received. I deleted all the suspect emails, and got one
warning that an email wanted to send a confirmation of
deletion, but I opted not to let it send.

This one is driving me crazy. Help, please.
