Picture Open very slow

I am using Publisher 2002, web page upload o.k. the only
thing is the pictures open very slow, is there a reason
why..? Please help...?

Did you make a website and put it on the server?
Then go to the file of that picture, select it and klick with right mouse to
see how big it is ( not in size, but mb or kb)
To load quick you might want to reduce file size.
Make a backup from the picture before you resize and safe under another name
before you do this.
Now resize the picture lower then 72 DPI and compress to factor/level 3.
resave and insert again in your Publisher file.
Run the programm again and upload the NEW file from publisher AND the new
picture.
Does it load quicker? yes?.....now your done.
If not, try pressing ctr-F5 on the computer to refresh windows memory.
