pictures and graphics disappearing

How do I prevent pictures and graphics from disappearing when inserted in
Microsoft Word 2002???

In Word, if you're not working in Print Layout view, switch to it.
Images that are formatted as other than "inline with text" are not
visible in Normal view.

In Word, click on Tools | Options | View | check the "Drawings" box and
uncheck the "Picture placeholders" box | Print | check the "Drawing
objects" box | OK.

If neither of the previous suggestions solves the problem, then try
reducing or turning off hardware acceleration in Start | Control Panel |
Display | Advanced | Troubleshooting. The fastest setting is the
default, but is not always the best.

Can you provide a better description of "problems"?

I had solved my problem and kept the acceleration high and able to view the
pictures, If you have the same card as mine, ATI Radeon 9600PRO, go to ATI
site to use their CAT UNINSTALL to uninstall, then reinstall the latest
driver issued on January. One other person just solved his problem doing the
same, the first restart might not work, after the 2nd or the 3rd, it should.
