pictures as background

I'm trying to set a picture as the background for my web
page. I can get the picture there, but how do I get it to
display just one picture instead of tiling the picture
over and over again? Any help would be greatly
appreciated!

In an image editor add white space to your image so it is say 1600x1200 px
- you can't prevent background image tiling
