Pivot Table-Chart Subform

Pivot Table and Pivot chart subforms are really slow when
you have large amount of data. I'm making query that only
have the amount of data I need but it's always slow to do
all the calculation compared to Excel. Is there a way to
have performance as good as in Excel but with the
PivotTable from Access??
